Saturday, October 10, 2026 10:00 AM–12:00 PM Joslin Community Garden 40 Florence St, Providence, RI 02909 Rain Date: Saturday, October 17, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM Join the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council for a morning of planting, learning, and caring for the Joslin Community Garden. Together, we’ll install a new pollinator plot and learn about the importance of native plants that provide food and habitat for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. We’ll plant a variety of native perennials while also helping care for shared garden spaces by weeding, mulching, and preparing the garden for fall. Tools, gloves, plants, and light refreshments will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothes that can get a little dirty and bring a refillable water bottle. This event is open to all ages, and activities will be accessible to both English and Spanish speakers. We’ll still gather in the case of light drizzle. In the event of heavier rain, our rain date is Saturday, October 17, from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. Pre-registration is encouraged.
