Latine Heritage Month: Colombia Day

Join us on October 7 for Colombia Day at BMCC, a special Latine Heritage Month celebration highlighting Colombia’s rich culture, traditions, and heritage. In collaboration with the Colombian Consulate, the event will provide students, faculty, and staff with an opportunity to learn about Colombia’s history, cultural diversity, and contributions to the broader Hispanic and Latinx community. Through cultural presentations, educational activities, and community engagement, Colombia Day will celebrate Colombian identity while bringing the BMCC community together under the 2026 theme, “Unidos, Somos Más (Together, We Are More).” See the schedule for all Latine Heritage Month events at BMCC.
