About this event
One of 9 upcoming events at Dungeness River Nature Center.
July 11, 10-11:30am and August 18, 10-11:30am Register Here! Join the delightful instructor Connie for a guided forest bathing session, where you’ll not only soak in the beauty of nature but also soak up some fantastic health benefits! Studies have shown that immersing yourself in the natural world can work wonders for your immune system, lower your blood pressure, and even lift your spirits. So, come on out and let nature work its magic! We will draw on the principles of a practice often referred to as “Forest Bathing” to experience the natural world in new health-enhancing ways. Although the quarter-mile trail to the River is not ADA, it is relatively flat and the walking pace will be slow. This program lasts 1.5 hours and will finish with a tea service in the woods. Wear comfortable layers adequate for the weather. $15 DRNC members // $20 Non-Member Price Connie holds a 150 hour certificate in Shinrin Yoku from the Centre of Excellence and has years of experience leading guided meditations.
