@ Join us in the Joslyn Castle Carriage House for a screening of Car-Centric, a locally produced documentary by Joseph Giitter, followed by a panel discussion with experts in urbanization, environmental stewardship, and bike safety advocacy. About the film: For nearly a century, Omaha’s Downtown was the city’s economic and cultural engine—until suburban expansion shifted the region toward car dependency. Today, Omaha is among the most car-centric cities in the country, with major consequences for safety, sustainability, and economic development. Car-Centric examines how transportation and city planning shape Omaha’s future and what steps we can take toward a more vibrant, connected city.
