Try your hand at glass fusing! During this relaxed 2 hour class, you will learn how to cut and design with fusible glass and glass elements. Instructor: Molly Hargarten Adults, Teens, and Children 8 and up are welcome with an accompanying adult. Prerequisite: None: beginners and more advanced welcome Class Size: 1 minimum; 4 maximum students per class Materials Fee: At the completion of the class, students will be charged $1 per ounce of glass used. Description: Try your hand at glass fusing! During this relaxed 2 hour class, you will learn how to cut and design with fusible glass and glass elements. You will have the opportunity to create a piece of glass art (with my help) as we explore different glass materials and designs. There will be a materials charge of $1 an ounce of glass used, payable at the end of class (check & cash preferred but will take a credit card). In addition, you have the ability to continue to work on your piece for up to an additional hour at $30 per hour or $15 per half hour. Glass pieces will be fired in my kiln and be ready for pick up in the next week. Classes are in my home studio located at 825 Cimarron Drive, Lafayette. Bring to Class: All materials provided.
