@ 174 years ago, Frederick Douglass delivered his famous speech, “What to the Slave is the 4th of July?” in Rochester, New York. Today, this striking oration remains one of the greatest indictments of American slavery. Join Rokeby Museum for a community reading celebrating Douglass’ momentous speech led by esteemed singer and actor, writer and teacher, Dr. François Clemmons.  Details The Community Reading is Free to the public.
