Join Regional Parks for this fun, hands-on activity, Art in the Park: Watercolor Jellyfish activity, Thursday, July 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Glen Helen Regional Park. This event provides an artistic path to creating beautiful and engaging art experiences for kids, as they explore their imagination and design their own ocean-inspired jellyfish. This activity is designed to impress beginning artists with the concepts of movement and color, using ethereal and/or dreamy characteristics, highlighting the vibrant, soft, delicate and often atmospheric quality of the ocean and its inhabitants. Don’t miss this chance to create, explore, and make something truly beautiful — perfect for families looking to add a splash of color and creativity to their day! All ages are welcome to join! All supplies are provided while they last. Leashed pets are welcome too! Glen Helen Regional Park offers the perfect landscape to spend the day at the park fishing, hiking, biking, swimming at the swim complex with waterslides and splash pad (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Check parks.sbcounty.gov/swim-schedules for pool schedule.), on the playgrounds, picnicking and grilling or disc golfing. Pack the car and come out for this exciting day of exploring the great outdoors. Glen Helen is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is located at 2555 Glen Helen Pkwy. in San Bernardino (Devore). General park admission is $10 per vehicle Mon-Fri, $15 per vehicle Sat-Sun, and $20 per vehicle on holidays.
