Inner Child: A Workshop in Reconnection

There are parts of us that learned early how to adapt—to become capable, careful, quiet, pleasing, independent, or whatever else was needed. Beneath those adaptations often remains something more spontaneous: our capacity for play, creativity, curiosity, and connection. This workshop is an invitation to gently explore the inner child—not as something broken that needs to be fixed, but as a way of reconnecting with parts of ourselves that may have become harder to access. Through guided reflection, gentle movement, and creative exploration, we’ll become curious about the ways we learned to protect ourselves and what parts of us might be asking for more room now. We’ll explore safety, play, creativity, self-compassion, and what it can feel like to express ourselves without needing to get it “right.” No previous experience is necessary, and sharing is always optional. Wear: comfy clothes. Bring: journal and pen.
