About this event

Hands-on zine making class in the Book Arts studio!  Zine & Wine: Altered States Edition Continuing our zine & wine series, at this session we’ll explore the catharsis of altered page processes using old, forgotten books, collage, poetry, and visual art. Transform the pages of a defunct textbook on business strategies into a poem about grief. Turn the lines of a cheesy romance novel into a feminist manifesto. Then compile your creations into an 8 page, single-sheet zine. And, of course, drink a little wine to unwind. The workshop is geared towards adults 21+. There is no prerequisite knowledge required. All materials provided. Things to note: • Makers of all skill levels are welcome. The workshop is geared towards adults. There is no prerequisite knowledge required. • All necessary tools to participate are provided. • Please read our ‘Plan Your Visit’ page to review our health & safety procedures.
