Hudson Valley Harvest: a Lunchtime Cooking Class with Miriam Rubin

Celebrate the abundance of fruits and vegetables grown in the Berkshires and Hudson Valley in this mid-summer class. Chef Miriam will share how to get the most out of the glories of the season, from tomatoes to apples and a whole array of vegetables and herbs. We will start by making our own apple tarts, kissed with Hudson Valley honey. Then she’ll demonstrate a super-flavorful tomato-basil soup, moist roasted salmon with an herby-lemony green sauce to be accompanied by a bouquet of just-picked garden vegetables. We’ll whip up some honey-lavender cream to top our individual tarts. Then, lunch is served!
