Join us for a guided tour of Center for Book Arts’s summer exhibitions, after futura: 26 broadsides printed by hansjörg mayer, and Sarah Plimpton’s Artists’ Books. After futura features the original broadsides of printer, art educator, and publisher Hansjörg Mayer, alongside new broadsides from 14 artists commissioned by Center for Book Arts. Sarah Plimpton’s Artists’ Books marks NYC’s first major exploration of Plimpton’s body of book work, which foregrounds mark-making, repetition, and spatial sequencing.
